The SNP continues to be the party of choice in Clackmannanshire after it secured the largest share of the vote in last week’s European Election – both in the County and across Scotland.
In Clackmannanshire the SNP took 33.2% of the vote and seven years into an SNP Government, the SNP remains the most popular party in Scotland with 29% of the vote.
Commenting, local SNP MSP, Keith Brown said: "This is a fantastic result for the SNP who have topped a nationwide poll five out of last six times in Clackmannanshire.
"Winning another national election after seven years in Government is a real vote of confidence in the SNP Government.”
